Pro bono logo design for a child welfare organisation

Hands Across The Water is an organisation with over 21 years of experience dedicated to building and supporting families, committed to the belief that every child deserves a home and loving family. Based in Michigan, USA, the institution’s actions include a multitude of child welfare programs and human services.

For the new logo, the client was leaning towards a more direct message, combining two goals of the organisation: to help, and to grow. With that in mind I went for a more straight forward approach combine icons of hands and tress in one single element.

Three options were presented, and this was the approved one.
