About

From advertising agencies to product designer helping startup, my path has been shaped by curiosity and a knack for connecting dots others might miss.

Creative foundation

My career began in advertising, where I expected to follow a purely creative path. Instead, I discovered my talent for organizing chaos, which landed me in project and account management at top Brazilian agencies.

Going solo: the entrepreneur phase

In 2012, I founded Arquipélago, a creative collective connecting talented freelancers with small businesses that needed quality design but couldn’t afford traditional agencies.
Running Arquipélago allowed me to explore a multitude of roles: copywriter, photographer, event planner, video maker, illustrator, and designer. More than new skills, each role taught me the nuances that make collaboration work.

A culinary detour

During a gap year in Australia, I trained professionally as a cook, and was surprised at how much it parallels design:

  • Prep work matters (mise-en-place)
  • Pressure reveals character
  • Cross-team collaboration is key for the success of a professional kitchen
  • Systems create consistency

A global perspective

My life and career map spans continents, from Brazil to Germany to the Netherlands, with stops in Canada and Australia. Each move added new languages (I speak six at various levels) and fresh outlooks and ways to approach problems.

The design evolution

Since 2016, I’ve focused on UI/UX design, completing intensive training and applying my varied background to create more thoughtful, holistic designs. Initially as a self-taught designer, I polished those skills with a UX/UI Design immersion course at Career Foundry, in 2021. Since then, I’ve worked for Brazilian, Dutch, and Swedish companies, always improving my knowledge and adding skills to my portfolio.

The startup advantage

In fast-moving environments like Bambelo and Stream Analyze, my multidisciplinary toolkit lets me pivot quickly between roles, understand diverse perspectives, and connect technical capabilities to human needs.

My way of thinking

Knowledge is power, data is key, and there’s beauty in simplicity.

I believe good design comes from understanding both business goals and user experiences – then finding the elegant solution where they meet.

What drives me?
The constant hunt for new challenges, skills, and problems worth solving. I’m at my best when learning something new and applying it to create meaningful solutions.
